Manipur booked their ticket to the Final by defeating Mizoram 7-6 on penalties, after a tightly contested 2-2 draw on Sep 7, 2026 in the Junior Boys National Football Championship - NFC, BC Roy Trophy at Bangalore Football Stadium, Bengaluru.

The scoring was opened by Siroi Khwairakpam for Manipur in the 14’. Parity was restored when Victor Lalawmpuia struck for Mizoram in the 26’. Manipur took the lead courtesy of Heikrujam Jogesh Singh in the 44’. A stoppage-time strike from C Lalmingropuia rescued Mizoram in the 90+1’. The deadlock meant penalties were required, and Manipur emerged victorious 7-6 from the spot.
