West Bengal defeated Manipur 3-2 in a penalty shootout, following a 1-1 draw on Sep 25, 2026 in the FINALS of the Junior Girls National Football Championship – NFC, Dr Talimeren AO Trophy at RDT Stadium, Anantapur.
The scoring was opened by Diya Biswas for West Bengal in the 14’. Mayengbam Narmada Devi levelled the scoring for Manipur in the 50’. With nothing to separate the sides at the final whistle, the match proceeded to a penalty shootout, where West Bengal triumphed 3-2.
